IBAAN, Philippines – THE Philippines Push Bike Racing Series is bringing an exciting new sport to Batangas, introducing children to cycling in a fun and safe environment. Push-bikes, or balance bikes, help young riders develop balance and coordination before transitioning to pedal bikes.
The Batangas chapter aims to inspire the next generation of cyclists through races and community events, fostering an active lifestyle and family bonding.
First-ever push bike race in Batangas
The inaugural race happens on 9 March 2025 at Batangas Lakelands, Balete, featuring categories for children aged 2 to 6. Families can also enjoy interactive activities throughout the event.
“We’re building a push-bike culture that encourages kids to be active, confident, and engaged,” said Clydie Pasia, chapter administrator. “Everyone is welcome to join, whether as a participant, volunteer, or sponsor.”
